Pride March Returns To Delhi
Queer rights are a part of human rights
On January 8, after a Pandemic induced two-year hiatus, the Delhi Pride Queer march 2023 warmed the heart of the Capital on a freezing Sunday. Rainbow colours made their mark on all things celebratory, including flags, balloons, posters, banners, clothing, and accessories.
Apart from the visual celebration of the Queer identity, the Delhi Pride Queer march also was a reminder of the need to stand up for the rights of the LGBTQI community. Queer rights are a part of human rights and the community reiterated its call for the right to marry and other issues
The community, their allies, and supporters, marched, danced, and played music as they made their way through Barakhamba road to the Jantar Mantar area.
