AIMS Bangalore MBA Admission Criteria

Management Entrance Exams
As mentioned already, admission in MBA programs is done based on the management entrance exam. The detail about the same is given in this section:
CAT 2019 - Candidates who have scored 60 percentile in CAT 2019 will be eligible to AIMS MBA admission. The exam was conducted on November 24, 2019. Result for the same was released on January 3, 2020.
XAT 2020 - XLRI Jamshedpur conducted XAT 2020 on January 5, 2020. The exam is conducted for admission in management programs offered at XLRI and other participating colleges. Candidates must have secured 60 percentile in XAT to be eligible for AIMS MBA admission.
MAT 2020 - MAT is conducted four times in a year in both online and offline mode. The February session of MAT 2020 is scheduled to be held on February 2, 2020 in CBT mode and February 16 in PBT mode.
CMAT 2020 - NTA conducts CMAT exam for the management aspirants all over the country. The exam is scheduled to be held on January 28, 2020. Candidates who will secure a minimum of 60 percentile in CMAT exam will be eligible for AIMS MBA admission.

AIMS MBA Application Procedure
The application process is not at all tedious. Every step is well-stated and explained on the website. Students just need to go in chronological order, and it will be done easily. The application fee is INR 1500. Candidates can apply for the admission process by January 24, 2020, at the official website i.e. theaims.ac.in/application.
The application process consists of 11 steps in total. They are:
1. Register as a new user.
2. Log in with your credentials after the registration.
3. Select the appropriate options in the following categories: Year of intake, Level of study, Admission type, Student category, Department/ Course/ University.
4. Fill in all the relevant details.
5. Fill in all the information related to your Parent/ Guardian.
6. Enter your academic details as and where required.
7. Enter the additional details as well.
8. Upload the required documents mentioned on the website.
9. Fill in the work experience (if any).
10. Select the schedule for your selection process.
11. Choose the admission type and the mode by which the documents will be sent.
If the applicant is found eligible on verification of all the transcripts and documents and found successfully competing in selection rounds, they will receive the registration form to take provisional admission on payment of the required fee.
AIMS MBA Selection Process
This private institute believes in overall potentials and not just academics. To maintain the same, the selection process for the MBA has four rounds in total. They are:

3. Extempore
4. Personal Interview
