. IIM Ahmedabad, which was previously ranked 2nd in 2019, has now gone past IIM Bangalore as the top college in India as per latest NIRF ranking.

. IIM Bangalore is now at 2nd spot followed by IIM Calcutta at the 3rd position.

. IIM Kozhikode has also shown an improvement in rankings. It now jumps from 8th to 6th position.

. NITIE Mumbai has improved by 17 positions and now stands at the 12th spot in India.

The MBA Admission process at Top Colleges in India

MBA Admission to popular MBA colleges in India is conducted based on various entrance exams. These exams are - CAT, NMAT, MAT, IBSAT, XAT, SNAP, etc. Based on scores in entrance exams plus academics (like scores in Graduation or PG Degrees) top colleges call for GD & PI. After passing those steps, the final merit list is published. JIMS Delhi: This college accepts CAT and MAT test scores with a percentile ranking between 50 to 60.

EMPI Delhi: Accepts all the exams for MBA admission with a 50 percentile and above

FIIB Delhi: This college accepts both CAT & MAT scores. The cutoff is 50 and above.
