Friends, journalists, contemporaries, elders gathered at the Jamia Millia Islamia last night to light candles in memory of Danish Siddiqui, award winning photo journalist, who was killed at Kandahar, Afghanistan. The mood was sombre and contemplative as all remember Danish and the hearts he had touched through his young life as a committed and courageous photographer and reporter.
