Sangam Vihar is a colony in south Delhi with a population of over one million people living in a five square kilometre area.

Every election the politicians arrive with their promises of development that are of course, never fulfilled. A little bit of rain floods the area, and downpours as Delhi is experiencing these days make it impossible for the residents to even step outside their homes.

Waterlogged gullies are part of their lives, with women and children joining the others in wading through calf deep waters on a daily basis during the monsoons.
