In Pictures: Contract Labour in JK Government Demonstrates for Rights

SRINAGAR: Contractual workers and daily wage employees of the Jammu and Kashmir government , many of them women participated in a May 1 Labour Day protest for an increase in salaries and security of employment. Hundreds participated in the demonstration in Srinagar organised by the CPI(M). They threatened a massive demonstration until and unless their demands were met.
